Since 1849, Center Church has operated as a place of faith and fellowship on the South side of Indianapolis. While many things have changed in our community, the society we live in and the world over the years, the one constant has been our commitment to the Wesleyan tradition anchored in the authority and timelessness of scripture.
Our Mission: To help people become fully devoted followers of Christ.

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three distinct Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are coequal and are one God.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is coequal with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven's glory and will return again someday to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

The Bible is God's Word to us. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Since it is inspired by God, it is the truth without any taint of error.

Following Jesus is a lifelong journey of transformation. Believers are called to live in a way that reflects Christ through love, obedience, humility, and holiness. Through the ongoing work of God’s grace, we are continually being formed into the likeness of Christ. This includes turning from sin, growing in faith, practicing spiritual disciplines, and allowing the Holy Spirit to shape every area of life.

9 AM Worship Service
Our early service is held in our Sanctuary at 9AM
The closest entrance are the doors on the north side under the carport (Door 1).

Sunday School
We have Sunday School for all ages at 10:15AM

11:15 AM Worship Service
Our late service is held in our Great Hall at 11:15AM
The closest entrance are the doors on the east side of the church building (Door 2+3).

Sunday Evenings
Middle School: 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM
High School: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Youth Group is for students in grades 6 - 12. They eat dinner, have a lesson, and play games almost every Sunday. See the church calendar for full schedule.

Kids aged 4 years to 4th grade can attend their own worship service downstairs in the children’s wing during either of the adult services. Parents are asked to accompany their children downstairs to check them in at the check in station.

Our nursery is located on the lower level children’s area.

We have several visitor parking spaces in our lot close to all the entrances. Look for the visitor signs or visitor spaces.
